What is Dehumidifier?

A Dehumidifier is a household, commercial or an Industrial appliance / equipment that reduces and maintains the desired level of humidity in the air usually for health reason of human, machine, equipment, product and building.

Refrigeration Dehumidifier

Advance Refrigerated Dehumidifier contains a compact refrigeration system which is fully self-contained packaged units which incorporate an air circulation fan and refrigeration circuit. Moisture laden air being drawn by fan into a dehumidifier where the air passes through a hydrophilic refrigerated coil of evaporator. The air is rapidly cooled below its dew point, condensing the water vapour. The cooled dry air is then passed across the heated condenses before being passed into the room. Water can be collected in a inbuilt removable tank or continuously through pipe from the process. This water can be used for various requirements like washing and drinking. Desiccant Dehumidifier

Advance Desiccant Dehumidifiers use desiccant which is moisture adsorbing material (chemical) like Zeolite, Silica Gel, molecular Seive etc. We use one of the desiccantis in the form of honeycomb type rotor/ wheel. They are used when very low humidity is needed, work is being carried out at extremely low temperatures, a low dew point is essential or for when the unit has to be ducted into the area that needs drying. The moisture laden rotor is regenerated in Reactivation Segment with the help of hot air using heaters.

It can be installed inside or outside of the controlled area as a stand-alone unit or attached to a central air handling system to enhance its dehumidification capability. Overhead / Ceiling installation is also possible in case of smaller models. The unit can be made weatherproof for outside installation. It can be mobile mounted or a trolley for applications. We also have economical special design of dehumidifiers using crystal based silica gel with two stage filter assembly upto 1 micron which are used in warehouse godown (Food, Sugar, etc.), packing room, control panel, engineering equipment etc.These are available in 500 CFM to 10000 CFM in humidity range from 90% to 20% RH.
